The Barn

• The tariff for Monastery Barn on a self-catering basis is from £200 per night with a minimum of 2 night's stay. Special rates are available for weekday bookings, 1 week stays as well as 2 week stays or more.
• The maximum occupancy of Monastery Barn is 6 adult guests /up to 4 dogs during your stay. We have 3 bedrooms (2x king size beds, 1x double bed) that can accommodate 6 guests & also 2 single fold up beds that can be set up in the "Sitting Room/Snug" for guests that prefer to sleep separately. The single fold-up beds, best suitable for teenage guests, can be stored away in the understairs cupboard during the day. Babies/toddlers who sleep in their carrycots do not count towards the number of guests, however, due to space restrictions, the number of guests can only be exceeded by 2 babies/toddlers
• Unauthorised over occupancy is a breach of our Terms & Conditions and may result in the cancellation of your booking & additional charges.
• If you wish to explore the possibility of having more than 6 guests stay at Monastery Barn please discuss with us prior to booking so we can ensure that everyone will be comfortable & have an enjoyable stay with us.

Check In & Check Out Times

• Check In is after 4.00 pm. Please notify us 48 hours in advance of the time you would like to check in. We will be there to welcome you & give you a guided tour of Monastery Barn.
• Check Out time is 9.00am -10.00am unless by special arrangement at the time your booking is made.
• Late Check Outs are available by arrangement & incur an additional charge. Check Out at 2.00 pm incurs an additional payment of £90. Check Out at 5.00 pm incurs an additional payment of £120 as then the Barn is not available to guests that evening.

Payment, Deposit & Balance Payment

• Further to receiving your Booking Enquiry we will send you a Booking Request Email which will confirm your Booking Reference Number & your Check In/Out dates, the number of guests, rental amount, deposit to be paid, banking details etc, etc.
• A one-third Deposit is required within 24 hours of your "Booking Request" being emailed to you in order to hold your dates. The two-thirds Balance Payment is then due one month (28 days) prior to your Check In date. Your booking reservation will be confirmed once your one-third Deposit has been received.
• For bookings commencing less than 4 weeks (28 days) in advance full payment is required within 24 hours of your "Booking Request" being emailed to you in order to hold your dates. Your booking reservation will be confirmed once full payment has been received.
• Payment by Bank Transfer.
• All payments are made subject to our "Cancellation Policy" as set out in our "Terms & Conditions". A minimum of 60 days notice of Cancellation is required for a full refund.

Babies & Toddlers

• Babies & toddlers are very welcome. Up to 3 babies or toddlers can be additionally accommodated with 6 adult guests.
• To ensure everyone's comfort there is a maximum of 2 adult guests per bedroom & one carry cot.

Pets

• We can accommodate up to 4 dogs for no additional charge.
• Confirmation is needed of the number of dogs & their breed/s that you would like to stay with you.
• Our doggie guests have ranged from large dogs (St Bernard's/Irish Wolfhounds/German Shepherds) to mid size dogs (Labradors/Spaniels/Tibetan Terriers) to the smaller dogs (Yorkshire Terriers/Dachshunds/Shih Tzu's).

Smoking

• Monastery Barn has a no smoking policy inside all the rooms.
• Smoking is allowed outside in the garden, on the terrace & in the courtyard.
• Ashtrays are provided.
